Bilberries

Bilberries are small, dark blue/purple berries native to Europe and parts of North America, also called European blueberries or whortleberries.. They grow on low shrubs, have a sweet-tart flavor, and a dark, purplish pulp. The fruit is prized for its high antioxidant content and is used in jams, juices, and other desserts..
